An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in a semi-rural Herefordshire location. This role offers the chance to lead a large, supportive team, influence clinical standards, and develop your leadership career – all while maintaining a healthy work–life balance.
The Role

Permanent, full-time position

40 hours per week across a 4-day working week

1 in 6 Saturday rota

No on-call or bank holiday commitments

Clinical leadership role with responsibility for standards, mentoring, and team development

Mix of consultations and surgery
About You
You’ll be a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with strong clinical experience and a desire to lead, mentor, and inspire others. You’ll be passionate about delivering high standards of patient and client care, enjoy collaborative working, and be ready to take the next step into – or continue within – a leadership role.
