Locum Head Veterinary Nurse – Paradise Point, QLD 4216 (4-Day Block | July 2026)

An established small animal clinic located in Paradise Point is seeking an experienced Locum Head Veterinary Nurse to provide support across a four-day block in July.

This opportunity would suit a confident and capable nurse who can step into a busy clinic environment, provide leadership and support to the nursing team, and work independently with minimal onboarding.

• Monday 6 July
• Tuesday 7 July
• Wednesday 8 July
• Thursday 9 July

Hours
Shift times are expected to fall within:
• 7:30am – 5:30pm
or
• 8:00am – 6:00pm

The Role
• Small animal general practice nursing
• Supporting day-to-day clinic operations
• Surgical and hospital nursing duties
• Assisting veterinarians with procedures and patient care
• Providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team
• Maintaining high standards of patient care and workflow efficiency

About You
• Qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse
• Previous senior nurse or head nurse experience highly regarded
• Able to work confidently with minimal supervision
• Strong surgical, hospital and consulting nursing skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Positive, team-oriented approach
• Comfortable stepping into an established clinic and contributing from day one
