Are you a Locum Veterinary Surgeon looking for a friendly, well-equipped practice with a supportive team and a good balance of consulting and surgery?

A welcoming small animal practice located on the Essex/Suffolk border is seeking a Locum Vet to join their team from July on an ongoing basis.
 

The Practice

This is a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice with an excellent local reputation and a loyal client base. The practice is known for delivering high-quality veterinary care while maintaining a compassionate and personal approach for both clients and patients.

The spacious, modern facilities include advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment, dedicated cat-friendly areas, and ample on-site parking. The clinical team is supported by experienced RVNs and support staff, creating a collaborative and positive working environment.

Located within easy reach of both Essex and Suffolk, the practice offers a pleasant working environment with good transport links and access to both countryside and coastal areas.
 

The Role

  • 4 days per week
  • 9:00am – 7:00pm
  • 1:4 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 12:00pm)
  • No out-of-hours requirements
  • Mixture of consultations and surgery
  • Ongoing booking available from July

 

Rates & Payment

  • Up to £500 per day DOE
  • All Payroll Methods Considered 

 

About You

The practice is looking for a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable with both routine consultations and surgery.

You will be a team player, adaptable, and able to quickly integrate into an established clinical team while maintaining excellent standards of patient and client care.
