Locum Veterinarian – Darwin, NT
23rd March – 26th April | Sole Charge | Up to $110 per hour + Flights, Accommodation & Car Provided

I am currently working with a well-established small animal clinic in Darwin seeking a confident and experienced locum veterinarian to provide sole charge cover while the principal vet is overseas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the Northern Territory, with full support provided and the option to arrive earlier for a paid handover period.

The Role

• Dates: 23rd March – 26th April
  (Option to commence earlier for handover)

• Location: Coconut Grove, Darwin NT

• Sole charge

• 5 days per week: Monday – Friday

• Hours: Typically 9:00am – 6:30pm
  Open to shorter hours such as 9:00am – 5:00pm if preferred

• Saturdays: Optional (9:00am – 12:30pm)

• Afterhours: Optional

• Consults and surgery, however consult-only can be accommodated

• Soft tissue surgery and routine desexing

• No orthopaedics

Support & Team

You will be supported by an experienced and capable nursing team of 4.5 nurses, including a highly experienced senior nurse who provides strong clinical and operational support.
