An independently owned, 5-vet small animal hospital in Joondalup is seeking a Cert IV qualified veterinary nurse to join their locum pool, with multiple shifts available from Monday 18 May. This clinic has built a strong and loyal community following through a commitment to honest, professional veterinary care.

There are several different shift lengths and start times available across Monday to Saturday, giving you flexibility to take on what suits your lifestyle. Roles cover surgical and hospital nursing as well as reception.

For the right candidate, a part-time to full-time permanent nursing position is also available.

Role Details

• Surgical and hospital nursing
• Consultation support
• Reception duties
• Flexible shift lengths and start times, Monday to Saturday

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• Comfortable across all clinic departments including surgery, hospital and reception
• OpenVPMS experience ideal but not essential
• Reliable and able to integrate quickly into a busy clinic

Permanent Opportunity

A part-time to full-time permanent nursing role is also available for the right candidate. Requirements for the permanent position include:

• Availability for some weekday shifts finishing at 7pm
• Regular Saturday reception shifts (9am to 3pm)
• 5+ years experience preferred; exceptional new or recent graduates considered
• VNCA membership supported, CE allowance provided, further study encouraged
• Management opportunities available for those who show aptitude
