Sole Charge: May be required depending on location

A group of well-established regional veterinary clinics across Western Australia are seeking experienced locum veterinary nurses to assist with longer locum blocks across multiple locations.

These clinics are part of a respected veterinary group that operates several practices throughout regional WA and regularly require locum support to cover extended leave and staffing gaps.

This opportunity is ideal for nurses who enjoy travelling, working in regional communities, and gaining experience across different clinics.

Blocks Available

Multiple extended locum blocks available throughout the year
Clinics are ideally seeking nurses who can assist with larger blocks of several weeks to several months, however shorter placements may also be considered

Role Details

Small animal general practice
Surgical nursing
Consultation support
Hospital patient care
General nursing duties across the clinic

Some clinics may require sole charge nursing, so candidates must be confident working independently when needed.

Requirements

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Qualifications recognised with the WA Veterinary Surgeons Board
Experienced and confident all-round veterinary nurse
Comfortable supporting consults, surgery and hospital care
Ability to work independently when required
