A supportive, independent small-animal clinic on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic team. This is a hands-on, team-based role with a balanced mix of surgical, dental, and front-of-house responsibilities. Shifts are flexible across the week, with a shared Saturday morning roster and no after-hours.
Key Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-operative patient care, theatre prep, recovery
• Anaesthetic induction/monitoring and intra-op support
• Dental assistance incl. scale & polish and radiography support
• Client care and reception (phones, invoicing, bookings)
• General nursing, inpatient care, stock and instrument maintenance

About You

• Cert IV Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in surgical nursing, anaesthetics, and dental
• Confident on reception with strong client communication
• Positive, team-focused, and eager to learn
• Available for 3–4 shifts per week (flexible), with Saturday mornings on rotation
• Note: Clinic is closed for Xmas/NY week roster exceptions
