Locum Veterinary Nurse – Tom Price, WA – Ongoing Opportunity

Location: Tom Price, WA
Role: Locum Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV)
Environment: Small Animal GP Clinic
Dates: Commencing 6 July 2026 – Ongoing
Commitment: Minimum 1 month block required
Sole Charge: Yes

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Role:

A well-established regional WA clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to assist with an ongoing placement commencing in July.

This opportunity can be offered as either a long-term locum role or a locum-to-permanent opportunity for someone looking to relocate regionally and become part of the team longer term.

The clinic is ideally seeking someone able to commit to a minimum 1 month block, however there is flexibility for candidates wanting to stay on for longer periods.

This is a true one vet, one nurse clinic environment, meaning the successful nurse must be confident working independently and capable of managing sole charge nursing responsibilities when required.

• Small animal general practice
• Surgical nursing
• Consultation support
• Hospital patient care
• General nursing duties across the clinic
• Sole charge nursing required
• Working closely alongside a sole veterinarian in a one vet, one nurse clinic setup

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

What’s on Offer:

• Attractive hourly rates
• Accommodation provided
• Opportunity for long-term locum or locum-to-permanent placement
• Supportive regional clinic environment
• Great opportunity to experience regional Western Australia

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• Qualifications recognised with the WA Veterinary Surgeons Board
• Experienced and confident all-round veterinary nurse
• Comfortable supporting consults, surgery and hospital care
• Confident working independently as a sole nurse

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for flexibility, regional experience and the option of securing a longer-term role if desired.
