Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time or Full-Time | Mixed Practice
An exciting opportunity is available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-equipped mixed animal practice located in a thriving regional centre in north-west Victoria. Veterinarians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including recent graduates and experienced clinicians.
This modern practice operates a purpose-built small animal hospital alongside an equine facility and offers exposure to a diverse caseload. While the primary focus is on companion animal medicine, there are also opportunities to work with horses, cattle, sheep, and local wildlife.

The Role

Manage a varied caseload including general medicine, surgery, and emergency presentations

Opportunity to perform orthopaedic procedures for those with an interest

Follow cases from consultation through to discharge, where appropriate

Strong mentorship and clinical support, particularly for junior veterinarians

Work within a collaborative, supportive team environment
About You
Qualifications:

BVSc or equivalent

Eligible for registration to practise in Australia

Salary & Hours

Competitive salary package, discussed based on experience

After-hours limited to weekends and public holidays (8:30am – 5:00pm)

Shared after-hours roster with generous time off

Four-day rostered weekend off during each cycle

Full-time hours average 38 hours per week

Part-time and flexible working arrangements available

TOIL accrued for additional hours worked and paid out if unused within three months
