An increasingly rare opportunity to join a thriving, genuinely mixed veterinary practice in the heart of Angus and eastern Perthshire.
We’re working with a long-established, progressive independent practice seeking a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. With over 75 years of independent ownership and strong links to XLVets, the practice combines traditional mixed practice values with modern clinical standards and excellent CPD support.
This is a true mixed role — ideal for a vet who enjoys variety and wants to maintain skills across species.
The Role

Approximately 70% Small Animal / 30% Farm & Equine

Involvement in routine and emergency care across all species

Consultations, diagnostics, surgery and preventative health work

Role can be tailored to individual species preferences and clinical interests

1 in 15 on-call rota with time off in lieu
You’ll be joining a large, collaborative team with a strong support network across vets, nurses and support staff. Clinical development is actively encouraged, and the culture genuinely prioritises teamwork and wellbeing.
About You

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

Minimum 2 years’ mixed practice experience

Confident with both routine and emergency cases

Strong communicator with a proactive, team-focused mindset

Passionate about delivering high standards of care across species
