Progressive Mixed Practice in Central Scotland – Mixed
Location: Peth and Kinross
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience – very flexible for the right candidate

About The Practice
A proudly independent, genuinely mixed practice with a 13-vet team covering Perth and Kinross, Fife, and Clackmannanshire. The main site is in Milnathort, with additional branches in Cowdenbeath and Tillicoultry.

Based in a beautiful semi-rural location with great access to the outdoors, but only 30 minutes from Edinburgh and just an hour from Glasgow – giving you the best of both worlds.

The caseload is approximately 65% small animal and 35% large animal. Farm work is varied, with progressive dairy, beef and sheep clients, plus a small amount of first-opinion equine.

What They Offer

  1. A varied caseload with the opportunity to focus on mixed or small animal work, depending on your interests
  2. A supportive, social team with monthly clinical club breakfast meetings and regular get-togethers outside of work
  3. Well-equipped practices, including:
  4. Digital X-ray and ultrasound
  5. Endoscopy
  6. Extensive in-house lab facilities (Imagyst cytology scanner, Ovacyte for FWECs, and more)
  7. Strong farmer engagement and all the kit you need to deliver progressive large animal work
  8. Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience)
  9. Private healthcare and a generous CPD budget
  10. 1-in-8 OOH rota (mixed vets) with significant time off in lieu

About You
The practice are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated vet with experience (mixed or small animal) who is keen to contribute to a progressive, forward-thinking practice. You’ll enjoy building strong client relationships and being part of a team that values both professional development and a good work-life balance.
