OOH Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time FTC – Cheshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Cheshire on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for an experienced vet with a passion for Emergency & Critical Care (ECC), looking for a structured rota and strong team support.

The Role

• Part-time OOH Veterinary Surgeon position (12-month FTC)

• 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota

• Shift pattern: 7:30pm – 8:30am

• Working as part of a dedicated ECC team

• Managing a varied emergency and critical care caseload

• Supported by an experienced clinical and nursing team

  • 3 operating theatres (including orthopaedic theatre with DR X-ray)

  • Ultrasound suite

  • Digital X-ray

• Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident in handling ECC and out-of-hours caseloads
