ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon – Somerset

GVC is assisting a busy, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Somerset to recruit an ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive out-of-hours (OOH) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet passionate about emergency and critical care, seeking weekend and holiday night shifts.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated night nurse, twilight phone triage nurse, and twilight assistant, with occasional support from another twilight vet.

• Weekend shifts: Friday & Saturday, 7pm–8:30am (2 nights on, 2 weekends off)

• Additional holiday cover shifts can be picked up if desired

• Flexible working patterns considered for the right candidate

• Clinical focus on emergency and critical care cases for small animals

Benefits Include

• Salary up to £70,000 pro rata, depending on experience
