The Team

This is a small animal practice with a close knit, 5 strong nursing team who like to stay busy, plus a six-person reception team keeping things running smoothly out front. Staff development isn't just talked about. CPD and further qualifications are actively encouraged and supported, which has built a team that's genuinely proud of what they do and how they do it.

The Opportunity

With one of the vets having just qualified with a Surgery Certificate, there's a real focus on theatre work right now. They after a nurse who's genuinely happiest in theatre, confident monitoring anaesthetics, assisting in surgery, and keeping the surgical list running like clockwork on a busy day.

You'll need solid general nursing experience under your belt, strong client-facing skills, and a warm, down-to-earth manner. Above all, a real passion for animal welfare.

Hours

Full-time, 40 hours a week. Shifts currently run 8.30am–4.30pm or 11am–7pm, with a 4-long-day pattern available if you'd prefer. Saturdays are 1 in 4, with time off in lieu and there's no out-of-hours or overnight in-patient checking.
