GVC is working with a well-established small animal practice in Aberdeenshire who are seeking ongoing locum cover on an ongoing basis. This is a great option if you’re looking for continuity, a supportive team, and a calm, well-organised environment where you can settle in and just get on with the job.

Flexible blocks are considered, with a mix of weekday shifts and optional Saturdays.

The Practice & Team

This Veterinary Clinic is a purpose-built, recently refurbished practice that has been caring for the local community for 20 years.

You’ll be joining a practice where things are well organised, well supported, and run properly ; no chaos, no firefighting.

The Role

This is a small animal GP locum role covering a varied caseload across consultations and routine procedures.

• Ongoing cover: Spring-Summer 2026 
• Shifts typically between 8:00am – 7:00pm
• Weekday cover required, with optional Saturday shifts
• Mix of consults and routine surgery
• Supportive team on-site at all times

Location

Based in Aberdeenshire, with good access to the city and surrounding areas of Scotland.

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon
