Ongoing Locum Vet – SW London / Surrey Border

We are working with a friendly and well-established small animal practice in the South West London area that is looking for ongoing Locum Vet support from early July. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team with a manageable caseload, a varied day structure, and optional additional earning opportunities through OOH work if desired.

Role details:

🩺 Locum Vet Surgeon – South West London / Surrey Border
📆 From 7th July – Ongoing
🔄 2-week rotating shift pattern
⏰ Early shifts: 07:30 – 16:00
⏰ Late shifts: 10:30 – 19:00
👥 Two-vet working environment each day
💉 Early shifts include consultations and procedures
📋 Late shifts are consults-only, with dedicated time for support work and callbacks
🏥 First-opinion small animal practice
🔹 Some sole charge required
❌ No mandatory OOH commitments

Other information:

🌙 Optional additional OOH shifts available through the onsite emergency provider
📅 Weekend OOH shifts available: 09:00 – 18:00 (Saturday & Sunday)
📍 Practice weekend shifts available:
• Saturday: 09:00 – 16:00
• Sunday: 10:00 – 18:00
🏠 Accommodation not routinely available
🛏️ Occasional ad hoc use of a spare room may be possible

This is an excellent long-term locum opportunity offering consistency, clinical variety, and flexibility, with the added option of boosting earnings through additional weekend and OOH work if desired.
