Looking for the consistency of regular weekly work without committing to a permanent position?

A small animal veterinary clinic in Yeerongpilly is looking for a Locum Veterinarian to join their team on a regular basis from approximately mid to late September through to 1 January 2027, with the possibility of continuing beyond this period.

The clinic can offer approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week, plus every second Saturday, making this a great opportunity for a vet looking to secure consistent hours over the coming months while maintaining the flexibility of locum work.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining an established small animal GP clinic and assisting with their ongoing roster requirements.

The clinic is ideally looking for someone who can commit to regular days each week and become a familiar part of the team throughout the placement.

The role will involve general small animal GP duties, including:

• Consultations
• General case management
• Routine small animal medicine
• Routine surgical work, depending on experience and preference
• Working alongside the clinic’s existing veterinary and nursing team

What They’re Looking For

The clinic would love to hear from a veterinarian who:

• Has solid small animal GP experience
• Is confident with consultations and general case management
• Can commit to approximately 2–2.5 days per week
• Is comfortable assisting with every second Saturday
• Is looking for regular, consistent locum work rather than isolated shifts
• Can ideally commit through to the beginning of January

There may also be the potential for the arrangement to continue beyond January for the right person.
