Who They Are

This is a family-run, RCVS-accredited hospital and emergency service clinic in Leeds, West Yorkshire — a modern, purpose-built practice operating to gold standard across both first-opinion and OOH referral services. Providing OOH and referral support to a large network of referring practices across the region, the caseload spans the full spectrum from complex emergency presentations through to advanced referral-level work — all managed in-house with the continuity and resources to do it properly.

The team is large, experienced, and genuinely supportive: 15 vets, dedicated day and night nurse teams, and day and night VCAs — 70 team members in total — united by strong communication, excellent management, and a shared commitment to gold standard clinical care. The night team is well-resourced: 1 vet, 1 senior RVN, 2 VCAs, a receptionist on until 22:00, and twilight RVNs supporting until midnight.

The facility is purpose-built and equipped to industry-leading standards: IDEXX laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, dental machine and dental X-ray, orthopaedic surgical kit, endoscopy, and Tonopen. This is a practice with the infrastructure, team, and culture to support a confident ECC clinician to thrive and develop.
