Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Surgeon – Greater Manchester

Salary up to £73,902 FTE 

My client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) to join a busy 24-hour hospital in Greater Manchester. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-built facility with a varied and challenging caseload, including medical emergencies, surgical cases, and weekly orthopaedic procedures. You’ll work alongside a skilled team of nurses and colleagues in a collaborative, supportive environment where everyone contributes to maintaining high clinical standards.

Our hospital features:

• 8 consulting rooms and 3 fully equipped operating theatres

• Digital X-ray, dental suite, and CT scanner

• Separate cat and dog wards, including a specialised ICU for intensive care

• Facilities designed to ensure low-stress, high-quality care for all patients

About You

• Confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon with ECC experience or interest

• Enjoys a varied caseload and fast-paced work environment

• Strong communicator, able to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues

• Keen to develop technical skills and pursue further qualifications
