Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon
Salary: Open to conversation, depending on experience

My client in West Sussex is looking for a dedicated Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a focused, friendly, and experienced referral team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about orthopaedics and ready to work in a well-equipped, supportive environment where clinical excellence is a shared priority.

You’ll be working alongside a close-knit team that includes a Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, a residency-trained surgeon, an Advanced Practitioner, and an orthopaedic intern. The role is ideal for someone who is already an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) or who has completed the ECVS or ACVS diploma exams.

They are keen to find someone who:

• Has a real passion for orthopaedic surgery

• Is motivated, hardworking, and committed to high standards of care

• Communicates clearly and confidently with both clients and referring vets

• Is happy to share equally in a non-onerous out-of-hours rota (no out-of-hours operating required)

The Role

• Salary: Open to conversation, depending on experience

• Hours: Full-time or part-time – I’m especially open to candidates interested in 2–3 days per week

• Contract: Permanent

You’ll be part of a small, highly focused team with excellent facilities and everything needed to manage a full range of orthopaedic cases, from routine to advanced procedures.
