Casual / Part-Time Small Animal Veterinarian – Melbourne’s West, VIC

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join a modern, well-equipped clinic located in Melbourne’s western suburbs, commencing May 2026.

This role offers flexible working arrangements within a supportive and collaborative team environment, making it ideal for veterinarians seeking work–life balance alongside a rewarding clinical caseload.

The Role

• Casual or part-time position, approximately 10–20 hours per week
• Includes Fridays, with the option to take on additional hours via a rotating sole-charge Saturday shift (9:00am – 1:00pm)
• Opportunity to work within a well-supported, team-focused clinic

Facilities & Equipment

• In-house blood analysers
• Digital and dental radiography (small animals)
• Ultrasound
• Flexible and rigid endoscopy
• Ligasure

About You

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in small animal practice
• Confident in routine medicine and surgery
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Eligible for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria
