A well-established, privately owned small animal practice located in Melbourne's highly sought-after bayside region is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis.

This opportunity would suit a veterinarian looking to achieve an excellent work-life balance while continuing to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

The role is offered on a part-time basis, working 2–3 days per week, plus one Saturday shift per month. Due to periods of sole charge, the clinic is seeking a veterinarian with previous clinical experience and the confidence to manage cases independently when required.

The team takes pride in working closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes for their pets, while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable workplace culture.

Veterinarians are supported by experienced colleagues and nurses who enjoy collaborating, sharing ideas, and working together to provide a consistently high standard of care.

The Role Offers

• A supportive and collaborative team environment
• A loyal and engaged client base
• A varied and interesting small animal caseload
• Opportunities to practice both medicine and surgery
• Encouragement and support for continuing professional development
• Excellent work-life balance in one of Melbourne's most desirable coastal locations

Key Responsibilities

• General consultations and preventative healthcare
• Diagnostics and case management
• Routine and non-routine surgical procedures
• Building strong client relationships through excellent communication
• Contributing positively to the veterinary and nursing team culture

The Ideal Candidate

• Has previous experience in small animal practice
• Is comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilities
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates a compassionate and client-focused approach
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
• Is committed to delivering a high standard of patient care
• Brings a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues

Located just minutes from Melbourne's beautiful beaches, cafés and lifestyle attractions, this role offers the opportunity to enjoy a rewarding veterinary career while embracing everything that bayside living has to offer.
