Overview

We’re hiring a part-time Veterinarian (approx. 30 hours per week) to join a well-established small animal practice in Happy Valley. With a friendly team, modern facilities, and genuine flexibility, this is an excellent role for a vet seeking a balanced, community-focused position.

About the Clinic

This long-standing practice has a strong local reputation and a loyal client base. The clinic has recently undergone renovations, offering a spacious and modern working environment designed for efficient, stress-free clinical flow.

Clinic Facilities Include:

• Dedicated imaging room

• Sterile surgery and separate treatment area

• Three consultation rooms

• Separate cat waiting area and dedicated dog and cat wards

• Central veterinary office and nurse station

• EzyVet practice management software

• In-house IDEXX laboratory (blood and urine analysers)

• Digital dental radiography (Sopro), general digital X-ray, and ultrasound

• Access to a mobile ultrasound specialist for complex cases

The Team

You’ll be supported by a collaborative team of five veterinarians (three–four rostered daily) and a highly skilled nursing team. Nurses assist in consults with animal handling, treatment support, billing, and clinical workflow, allowing vets to focus on delivering high-quality care.

About You

We’re looking for a veterinarian who:

• Is degree-qualified and eligible for veterinary registration in South Australia

• Has at least two years of clinical experience

• Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team

• Communicates clearly with clients and colleagues

• Is committed to excellent patient care and client service
