Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal – West London

An established and well-respected small animal practice in West London is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly GP team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking for a flexible part-time role with strong clinical support, a collaborative team, and a varied first-opinion caseload.

The practice has been a trusted part of the local community for many years and offers a welcoming, supportive working environment where clinical standards and teamwork are highly valued.

The Role

• Part-time position – 2 days per week

• Working Thursdays and Fridays (Friday is an 8-hour day)

• 1 in 3 branch Saturdays

• 1 in 8 Sundays supporting a nearby veterinary hospital

• No on-call requirements

For vets seeking a full-time opportunity, additional days may be available across other nearby practices within the group.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough consultations and examinations

• Provide evidence-based treatment and management plans

• Perform routine GP surgery within your level of competence

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records

• Refer cases appropriately when required

• Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment

The practice is also supported by a nearby veterinary hospital, providing out-of-hours care and access to more complex case management when required.

About You

• MRCVS qualified Veterinary Surgeon

• Comfortable with first-opinion practice including consultations and routine surgery

• Salary: Up to £60,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time hours)

• 6.6 weeks annual leave

• Up to £2,000 CPD allowance with up to 5 days’ CPD leave (pro rata)
