The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon to take on a varied position combining consulting, surgery, and occasional sole charge. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment while also having the autonomy to manage cases independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans
• Perform routine and elective surgical procedures
• Manage cases independently during sole charge shifts
• Deliver high standards of patient and client care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff
• Carry out house calls using a company-provided vehicle
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in small animal practice
• Confident working in sole charge
• Strong clinical and surgical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent English communication skills
• Full driving licence
• EU work eligibility or willingness to relocate

Salary & Benefits

• €2,250 – €3,000 per month (depending on experience)
• Full-time role (40–45 hours per week, rota-based)
• Emergency and Sunday shifts on a shared rota
• Company vehicle provided for house calls
