Registered Veterinary Nurse – Cambridgeshire

Full-time • Salary from £28,000 DOE • 40 hours/week

We are assisting a well-established veterinary hospital in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their supportive, friendly, and highly skilled team.

The hospital operates across multiple sites including a 24-hour main hospital and smaller branches, serving loyal local communities. The area offers excellent connectivity, green spaces, and proximity to Cambridge and London, making it an ideal location for career and lifestyle.


About the Role

You will be accountable for the delivery of high-quality nursing care across consultations, inpatient care, theatre, and emergency services. Working within a referral-level facility, you will gain exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload including ultrasound, endoscopy, orthopaedic procedures, laparoscopic spays, and advanced imaging.


What We’re Looking For

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Ideally 1+ year post-registration experience

  • Team player who thrives in a busy, varied caseload

  • Willing to support and mentor colleagues; Clinical Coach experience or interest a plus

  • Passionate about delivering excellent nursing care in clinic, theatre, and inpatient settings

  • Flexibility to work across hospital and branch sites


Working Hours & Rota

  • 40-hour week: 4 × 10-hour days or 5 × 8-hour days

  • Shifts between 7:30am–9:30pm

  • 1 weekend day in 4 (time off in lieu)
