We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Oxfordshire.
This is a varied role ideal for an enthusiastic RVN with an interest in patient care, emergency and critical care. You’ll have the opportunity to work across hospital and theatre, develop your clinical skills and become part of a supportive, collaborative team.
The Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll be involved in a wide range of clinical duties, including:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to inpatients
- Patient monitoring, admissions and discharges
- Nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
- Supporting veterinary surgeons with consultations, surgery and procedures
- Working across hospital and theatre
- Supporting emergency and critical care cases
- Providing excellent client care
- Working closely with the wider veterinary team to deliver high standards of patient care
About You
You’ll be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about patient and client care. You’ll enjoy working as part of a busy team and be keen to continue developing your clinical skills.
Experience or an interest in emergency and critical care would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and develop is equally important.
