Registered Veterinary Nurse
(No OOH) – Full-time/Part-time

GVC is recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Gainsborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a collaborative team, delivering excellent patient and client care.

About the Practice:
The practice is a two-site, RCVS-accredited small animal clinic serving a loyal and well-established client base. The team prides itself on creating a family-feel environment, combining professionalism with a supportive and enjoyable workplace culture. Modern facilities include in-house lab machines, digital x-ray, and ultrasound, allowing the team to provide high standards of veterinary care.

Role Details:

• Permanent position, full-time (average 39 hrs/week over 4 days)

• 1 in 7 Saturday mornings, no out-of-hours commitment

• Salary: £24,761 – £29,487 per year 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high standards of nursing care and assist veterinary surgeons with patient management

• Support, train, and supervise students and junior team members

• Maintain accurate documentation for patient care, client communications, and insurance purposes

• Perform laboratory work and ensure correct equipment maintenance

• Participate in admissions, discharges, stock management, and other administrative duties

• Ensure compliance with practice policies, RCVS CPD requirements, and health and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Excellent team player with strong communication and organisational skills

• Enjoys supervising and educating colleagues and clients

• Professional, proactive, and attentive to detail
