My client in Hampshire are recruiting on behalf of a progressive, purpose-built small animal practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working within a modern practice that actively encourages nurses to utilise their full range of skills.
The Role
As part of a collaborative clinical team, you will be involved in a varied caseload including:
• Theatre nursing and anaesthesia monitoring
• Inpatient care and nursing consultations
• Radiography and diagnostic procedures
• Dental nursing and dentistry support
• Nurse-led clinics and client education
• General nursing duties across the practice
The practice is committed to nurse development and encourages professional growth, including support for Clinical Coach training.
About You
They are looking for a Veterinary Nurse who is:
• RCVS Registered (or eligible to register)
• Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
• Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented
• Compassionate towards both patients and clients
• Keen to continue developing their clinical skills
• Interested in mentoring or becoming a Clinical Coach (desirable)
The Practice
This is a well-equipped, small animal practice with a varied caseload and a strong focus on high clinical standards. Facilities include:
• Advanced ultrasound equipment
• Digital radiography, including dental radiography
• In-house laboratory facilities
• Endoscopy equipment
• Multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring
• ECG and blood pressure monitoring
• Laser therapy equipment
• Dedicated operating theatre
• Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards
• Ongoing investment in facilities, including planned expansion of intensive care services
