Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Independent Practice – Small Animal & Exotics – East Sussex
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive independent veterinary practice in East Sussex.
This well-established practice offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including small animals and exotic species, and works closely with a local zoo, giving the team the chance to treat a wide range of interesting cases – from birds and reptiles to meerkats and even aquatic species.
This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys clinical variety, working within a close-knit team, and delivering high standards of patient care.
The Role

Full-time position – 35 hours per week across 4 days

1:5 Saturdays (9am–2pm)

No out-of-hours work

Salary up to £35,000 DOE

Work within a supportive clinical team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 RVNs, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and 1 VCA

Dedicated reception team – no reception duties required

Opportunity to nurse both small animals and exotic species

Interesting and diverse caseload including birds, reptiles, zoo animals and unusual cases
About You
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse with ideally 2+ years’ experience, as the practice already supports a Student Veterinary Nurse within the team.
You will enjoy working collaboratively, providing excellent nursing care and contributing to a positive team environment.
An interest in exotics would be advantageous, but if you'd rather a focus solely on small animal practice then that's absolutely fine!
