Senior Clinical Nurse (RVN) – Swindon

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum FTE
Practice: Independent multi-site veterinary group
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Contract: Permanent · Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Senior Clinical Nurse role within a well-established, independent veterinary group operating across three sites. This is an ideal position for a confident clinical leader who enjoys coaching, protocol development, and supporting large nursing teams.

Established in 1986, the group delivers high-quality primary care with strong in-house capabilities, including a gold-standard cat-only clinic at the main site, minimising the need for referrals. The culture is open, supportive and heavily focused on CPD and clinical excellence.


The Role

  • Clinical leadership across three sites

  • Development and implementation of clinical protocols

  • Induction, supervision and ongoing support of all clinical staff

  • Working closely with senior vets, clinic managers and practice management

  • Involvement in HR processes and nurse recruitment

  • Ensuring compliance with RCVS standards

  • Acting as an experienced Clinical Coach


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience (quality of experience prioritised)

  • Proven leadership and team management capability

  • RVN status (RPA/RLA preferred)

  • Clinical Coach status essential

  • Further qualifications in leadership or management desirable
