Position: Experienced Small Animal Veterinarian (Full-Time)
An independently owned small animal veterinary clinic in Clyde is seeking an experienced veterinarian who enjoys solving complex medical cases and practising thoughtful, high-quality medicine.
This clinic is designed for veterinarians who thrive on diagnostics, clinical reasoning, and seeing the bigger picture — those who take pride in working cases through rather than rushing to quick fixes. It offers an environment where curiosity, problem-solving, and a whole-animal approach are genuinely valued.

About the Clinic

  • Independent, veterinarian-led practice with a strong focus on clinical autonomy
  • Emphasis on thorough, considered medicine rather than high-volume consulting
  • Supportive environment that allows time for proper diagnosis, communication, and treatment
  • A collaborative team culture that values curiosity, initiative, and shared learning

Clinical Approach
The clinic’s philosophy centres on:

  • Treating each case with a “whole-animal” perspective
  • Prioritising clinical reasoning over rushed decision-making
  • Encouraging deeper investigation into complex or unclear cases
  • Supporting veterinarians to take the time needed to achieve meaningful outcomes

This is a practice where challenging cases are welcomed, not avoided — and where veterinarians are supported to work through them properly.

The Role

  • Full-time position for an experienced veterinarian
  • Strong focus on general practice medicine, diagnostics, and case management
  • Opportunity to work through a diverse and interesting caseload
  • Collaborative support from a team that values discussion and shared thinking

What They’re Looking For

  • Experienced veterinarian with confidence in clinical decision-making
  • Strong interest in diagnostics and problem-solving
  • Enjoyment of general practice with varied and challenging cases
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and honesty
  • A team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach

Core Values
The clinic values professionals who demonstrate:

  • Initiative – taking ownership of cases and outcomes
  • Accountability – following through on patient care
  • Compassion – genuine care for patients and clients
  • Positivity – contributing to a calm and supportive environment
  • Teamwork – collaborating rather than competing

Why Join?

  • A genuine focus on meaningful, thoughtful veterinary medicine
  • Time and support to properly investigate and manage cases
  • A workplace where clinical ability is recognised and rewarded
  • A team that enjoys working together and values professional growth
  • A steady flow of interesting and mentally engaging cases

This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who wants their work to be intellectually rewarding, clinically meaningful, and supported by a like-minded team.
