Senior Veterinary Nurse – Leadership Role

GVC are recruiting on behalf of an independent practice who are seeking a confident and experienced Senior RVN to join a high-performing clinical team in a leadership role. You’ll support a specialist vet, coordinate patient care, and guide the nursing team to deliver outstanding care.

The Role:

• Lead and organise a clinical team day-to-day

• Run advanced anaesthesia and support complex cases

• Mentor and supervise RVNs and VCAs

• Drive clinical efficiency and patient flow

• Ensure high standards in patient care, communication, and record-keeping

• Contribute to clinical development, training, and SOPs

What You’ll Need:

• RCVS-registered RVN with strong clinical and leadership skills

• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities

• A flexible and proactive approach to a busy hospital environment

Salary & Hours:

💷 £34,650 – £37,150 p/a (depending on experience)
🕓 40 hours/week — four 10-hour shifts, including weekends, on-calls, and bank holidays on rotation
