We’re working with a highly respected, RCVS-accredited small animal group in Wiltshire that is looking for an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to play a key leadership role across a progressive, multi-site practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a forward-thinking vet who is passionate about clinical excellence, mentoring colleagues, and helping shape the future direction of a thriving practice.

This role offers genuine progression, close collaboration with an experienced Clinical Director, and the chance to influence clinical standards, team development, and patient care across a large and supportive veterinary team.

The Opportunity

  • Salary up to £75,000 DOE
  • Full-time permanent role
  • 38-hour week
  • 4-day week Monday to Friday
  • Weekend rota averaging just 2 hours per week
  • No mention of out-of-hours requirements

Located in Wiltshire with excellent transport links, the practice is well positioned for commuting from Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, the Cotswolds and London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care across a varied caseload
  • Support and deputise for the Clinical Director when required
  • Promote positive clinical leadership across the team
  • Support colleague development and clinical decision making
  • Maintain high standards of communication, case management and patient care
  • Handle client concerns professionally and empathetically
  • Manage workload efficiently within a busy hospital setting
