A client we are representing is seeking a Senior Veterinarian to join their established small animal hospital in the Greenbank area. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a mentorship-focused role, supporting two new graduate vets while working alongside an experienced and collaborative senior team.

The Role

This position is centred around clinical leadership and mentorship, with the support of other experienced vets in the team.

You’ll be:

  • Supporting and mentoring 2 new graduate veterinarians
  • Working closely with an experienced senior team including orthopaedic and soft tissue support
  • Managing a varied caseload, including more complex medical and surgical cases
  • Contributing to clinical standards, workflows, and team development
  • Involved in both consulting and surgical duties

There is flexibility to start part-time with the option to grow into a full-time position.

The Clinic

  • Independent, well-established small animal hospital
  • Team of 26 staff across vets, nurses, and support
  • Located in Greenbank, with a sister clinic in Acacia Ridge
  • Strong leadership structure with experienced coordinators and support staff
  • Well-equipped facility offering:
    • General practice and preventative care
    • Surgery (including orthopaedics)
    • Diagnostic imaging
    • Dental care
    • Reproductive services

The clinic is known for its compassionate, community-focused approach, combined with a commitment to high clinical standards and ongoing development.

The Team

You’ll be supported by:

  • A hands-on clinic owner
  • Experienced senior vets
  • Visiting orthopaedic and soft tissue expertise
  • A highly experienced Hospital Coordinator (20+ years)
  • Dedicated surgical, consulting, and reproduction nursing teams

This is a genuinely team-driven environment, where collaboration and support are part of the culture.

Opening Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
  • Sunday: 9:00am – 12:00pm

 About You

  • A qualified Veterinarian eligible for registration in Australia
  • 3+ years’ experience (ideal for a Senior or experienced GP vet)
  • Confident in general practice and comfortable with a varied caseload
  • Passionate about mentoring and supporting junior vets
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a positive culture
