A client we are representing is seeking a Senior Veterinary Nurse to join their award-winning, independently owned group of three small animal hospitals in the Greater Springfield region.

The Opportunity
This is a full-time, permanent Senior Veterinary Nurse position within a highly respected and stable team.
You will step into a well-supported environment where senior nurses are trusted to take ownership, contribute to clinical decisions, and positively influence culture.
The roster includes shifts across the three hospital sites, within operating hours of 7am–9pm.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key clinical pillar within the hospital, trusted to:

Work closely with veterinarians to deliver seamless patient care

Advocate for patients using strong clinical judgement

Assist with examinations, surgery and procedures

Run nurse consults and educate owners on preventative and post-treatment care

Support and mentor junior team members
-
Contribute positively to culture and uphold core values

What We’re Looking For

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

Strong surgical and medical nursing skills
-
High emotional intelligence and excellent communication
-
Ability to work across the three hospital sites

Confidence using computer systems
-
Experience with Ascend, Smartflow, VetCheck and IDEXX machines is beneficial
