The Role

Senior Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon position

Varied companion animal caseload, with some exotics for those interested

15-minute consultations
-
Average 34 hours per week
-
4-day working week
-
1 in 4 Saturday mornings (2.5-hour consult-only shift)

1 in 4 working days spent locally on the road as part of a homecare vet/nurse team

No late nights, no OOH, no bank holidays

Excellent facilities including comprehensive diagnostics and in-house laboratory

Close links with a nearby referral hospital
About You
You’ll be a RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a few years’ UK experience (circa 2019–2022 graduate level or equivalent). An interest in leadership is welcomed but not essential, with training and development fully supported. A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are key.

Salary between £60,000 – £75,000, depending on experience and certifications
