The clinic is equipped with digital radiography, high-end ultrasonography, full in-house clinical pathology suites and advanced surgical theatres — a strong clinical environment for a vet with five or more years of small animal experience looking to build a career in the Middle East. The relocation package is thorough. Two weeks of complimentary hotel accommodation is provided on arrival while the candidate settles in. Return flights to the home country are included. Visa and licence fees are fully covered by the clinic. Housing allowance and transport allowance are both built into the monthly package.

Licensing in Bahrain takes approximately two to three months and involves DataFlow verification and an online licensing examination. Candidates must be prepared to undergo this process and GVC can support with guidance throughout.

What you will do

You will be working across a varied small animal caseload, bringing strong diagnostic and surgical skills including dentistry and experience with digital radiography, ultrasonography and in-house blood analysis. Exotic and orthopaedic experience is an advantage. 48 hours per week, permanent and full time.

What you will gain

2,000 to 3,000 BHD per month total package (approximately up to £72,500 per year at current exchange rates). Basic salary 900 to 1,200 BHD. Housing allowance 400 BHD. Transport allowance 200 BHD. One month paid leave after 11 months of employment. CE allowance provided. Return flights to home country. Two weeks complimentary hotel on arrival. Visa and licence fees covered by the clinic.

What they need from you

A minimum of five years small animal experience. Strong diagnostic and surgical skills including dentistry. Experience with digital radiography, ultrasonography and in-house blood analysis. Exotic and orthopaedic experience a plus. English speaking. Comfortable working within a multicultural environment.
