GVC is supporting a well-established small animal practice in the beautiful city of St Albans, seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team on a 6-month contract, with potential for extension for the right person.

The Practice

Based in the heart of vibrant St Albans, this busy small animal practice has a strong community feel and an established client base.

You’ll step into a varied caseload from day one, making it ideal for a confident vet who enjoys autonomy, continuity of care, and the chance to really settle into a team for the duration of the contract.

Working Pattern

• Full-time preferred – 40 hours per week
• Part-time applicants considered
• 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital OR 1 in 3 Saturdays shared fairly

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £70,000 DOE

• MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
