Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Wiltshire

GVC is assisting a well-established Wiltshire practice in their search for a passionate Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The practice has been serving the local community for decades, prioritising the wellbeing of both patients and clients.

About the Practice:

• RCVS-accredited, Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital with ISFM Cat Friendly Gold Award

• Multiple branches across the region plus a main hospital

• Hospital equipped to a high standard with plans to expand, including a CT scanner

• Friendly, supportive team: 14 FTE vets, 12 FTE RVNs, 3 SVNs, 5 FTE ACAs, plus dedicated admin and reception staff

The Role:

• Full-time position over 4 days

• Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience

• Split between hospital and branch shifts, with flexibility to tailor the rota to individual needs

• Fair weekend day rota, no nights

• Opportunity to develop clinical interests and gain exposure to a wide variety of cases in a supportive environment

• Mentoring and CPD support provided, with access to certificate holders and senior clinicians

Location:

• Easily accessible via M4 and local train stations

• Close to the Cotswolds, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, and only an hour from London by train
