As an independent family-owned practice Josh & Camilla have been caring for the pets of this wonderful beachside community since 2004.

We’re well equipped with the right tools to provide great patient care. Our friendly clientele appreciate the personalised service found in a boutique practice.

Your Role

To care for your patients while providing empathy to our friendly clients. You will be supported by two highly experienced membership qualified GPs and our friendly team of wonderful nurses who love their work. In consults a vet nurse will assist allowing you to focus on your patients. Afterhours calls are directed to a nearby Emergency Centre with whom we enjoy an excellent relationship.

You will participate in the rotating Saturday morning roster, but we’re closed Sundays and Public Holidays. There is the usual balance of consults and procedures with plenty of scope to investigate cases with all the usual toys plus a few more thrown in for good measure including cutting edge dental equipment. For more complex cases you will enjoy interacting with visiting specialists. We have the space, and facilities to accommodate any area of particular interest you might have.

We don’t require a rocket scientist – but if you are that’s OK!

You are registered to practice in Victoria, enjoy caring for patients, have empathy for clients and respect your co-workers. Recent graduates will be supported.

You could be any of the following:

A recent graduate looking to develop your skills in a supportive environment with a manageable caseload.

An experienced vet who has had enough of clients that aren’t willing to pay for quality care or maybe you’re tired of corporatised bean counters that don’t appreciate your work.

An experienced vet looking to settle & consolidate their career in a highly desirable setting with potential for ownership buy in/buy out.

A carer looking for a position where you can balance work and family. Although a full-timer is preferred, we are open to negotiate a part-time position.

Location

The clinic is nestled in the heart of a unique seaside village close to shops and cafes, literally a stone’s throw from the beach. One hour south of Melbourne’s CBD we’re easy to access via reverse commute. The Mornington Peninsula is known as Melbourne’s playground and beachside Mt Martha Village is one of its jewels. A walk on the beach with a coffee at lunchtime is priceless and you can have it here….

Sign on bonus after satisfactory completion of probationary period

5 weeks paid leave (with option for 1 week study leave) per annum, some of which may be taken during school holidays by mutual agreement.
