About the Practice
Our client is one of Tasmania's largest companion animal practices, providing high-quality veterinary care to the local community and referral patients from across the region.
The practice operates from a modern facility comprising dedicated canine and feline spaces, including a purpose-designed feline clinic accredited to a high standard of feline-friendly care.
The experienced team includes:
- 12 veterinarians
- Over 30 veterinary nurses and support staff
The practice is recognised for delivering exceptional first-opinion veterinary care while also managing a wide range of advanced cases, including:
- Soft tissue surgery
- Orthopaedic procedures
- Oncology cases
- Diagnostic imaging
- Acupuncture and complementary therapies
The Role
This flexible position can be tailored to suit the successful candidate, with opportunities available for:
- Full-time or part-time employment
- Experienced veterinarians seeking clinical autonomy
- New graduates or developing veterinarians seeking structured mentorship
- Clinicians interested in feline medicine, canine medicine or a combination of both
The practice encourages veterinarians to develop their own areas of interest and supports clinicians in building expertise across disciplines including:

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Veterinary registration or eligibility to practise in Australia
- A genuine passion for companion animal medicine

- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture
