Our client is seeking a passionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join their friendly and supportive team in the Geelong region.

About the Practice

Our client operates a modern, well-equipped small animal practice designed around providing exceptional veterinary care and an outstanding client experience.

The clinic has a strong focus on collaboration, positive workplace culture and supporting veterinarians to achieve their professional goals.

The practice manages an interesting and varied caseload including:

  • Dogs and cats
  • Rabbits
  • Birds
  • Reptiles and other exotic pets

The veterinary team is supported by experienced, hands-on veterinary nurses who assist with patient care and ensure clinicians have the support needed to provide excellent outcomes.

The Role

This part-time position offers flexibility and variety, including:

  • Approximately two shifts per week, with additional flexibility available
  • Every second Saturday shift (9:00am – 2:00pm)
  • A balanced mix of consulting and surgical duties
  • Opportunity to develop clinical interests
  • No after-hours, Sunday, public holiday or on-call requirements

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently and managing routine consultations and surgical procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Veterinary degree from an accredited university
  • Current veterinary registration or eligibility for registration in Australia
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience
  • Confidence working as a sole-charge veterinarian when required
  • Competence in routine surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of patient care
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a fun and supportive team culture
