Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Full Time – Cheshire
A well-established small animal practice in Cheshire is looking to appoint an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced and long-standing team. The practice has been part of the local community for over 20 years and is known for its loyal client base, collaborative working environment, and strong clinical standards.
This role has become available due to an internal move and would suit a vet looking for a stable, well-supported position with access to hospital facilities and clear development pathways.
The Role

Full-time position working 4 days per week

Participation in weekend and bank holiday rota

Saturdays worked sole charge at the main practice

Sundays and bank holidays based at a nearby Tier 3 hospital

Varied first-opinion small animal caseload
-
Access to in-house referral services and out-of-hours support
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality clinical care in consultations and surgery

Manage routine first-opinion cases confidently

Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients

Work effectively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support teams

Contribute positively to clinical standards and team culture
The Candidate

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Confident in small animal first-opinion work
-
Comfortable with occasional sole charge

Keen to develop clinically, with support available for GDP and certificates

Team-oriented with a professional, client-focused approach
