The Opportunity
This role combines clinical leadership with collaboration across veterinary teams, supporting high standards of patient care and professional development.
You will:
- Mentor and support veterinary teams to maintain excellent clinical standards
- Contribute to clinical guidelines, protocols, and best-practice procedures
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex clinical cases
- Lead peer discussions and support positive clinical outcomes
- Assist with veterinarian recruitment, graduate engagement, and industry relationships
- Represent the veterinary team at professional forums and conferences
The State Chief Veterinary Officer role would rotate the leadership of the Vet Advocacy Group which is a formal panel made up of a handful Senior Vets of nationally to:
- Review and assess clinical outcomes
- Evaluate client clinical complaints from a peer-review perspective
- Align with Aimee as GM on appropriate clinical conclusions, learnings, and outcomes

Remuneration is up to $170k + super with travel/car allowance

- Experienced veterinarian with 5+ years of clinical practice
