Up to £80,000 Not Pro Rata | CT Access | 14 Vets and 18 VNs | Certificate Funding Available
Who they are
This is a busy, purpose-built 24-hour small animal surgery in Romford with an established and experienced clinical team and a dedicated onsite night team providing round-the-clock care. The surgery is well-resourced with two dedicated operating theatres, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, a full endoscopy unit and access to CT at a nearby branch. The team of 14 vets and 18 VNs holds a wide variety of clinical interests from medicine through to soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
The working pattern is seven nights on, fourteen nights off. Monday to Friday the shift runs from 8pm to 8.15am, weekends from 6pm to 9am. This gives a genuinely substantial amount of time off between blocks and suits vets who want to work intensively for a period and then step away entirely. Free on-site parking throughout. Excellent transport links and conveniently located for multiple regional airports.
What you will do
You will be working across a varied and challenging emergency and out-of-hours caseload, confident in sole charge, competent with emergency surgical procedures and strong in diagnostic and medical case management. You will be working alongside a dedicated onsite night team and will be an excellent communicator with clients and colleagues alike.
What you will gain
Up to £80,000 not pro rata. Contributory pension scheme. Generous CPD allowance with certificate funding available. Paid RCVS, BVA and VDS memberships. Exclusive company discounts and rewards. Career development opportunities within an established, well-equipped practice.
