The Role
As part of a supportive veterinary team, you will enjoy a varied caseload including consultations, surgery, inpatient care, and emergency work.
The practice operates a structured rota designed to provide an excellent balance between professional fulfilment and personal time.
Key details include:
- Full-time position working a 3-day week
- Shifts from 8:30am to 7:00pm
- One weekday on-call shift every two weeks
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings only
- Dedicated emergency support for weekend cover
- Protected time for case discussions, administration, and client communication
- Support from experienced RVNs and VCAs
About the Practice
This is a growing, modern small animal and exotics practice that has built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality veterinary care.
The practice benefits from spacious, purpose-built facilities with separate areas for different species, modern diagnostic equipment, and ongoing investment in clinical services. Further expansion is currently underway, including additional surgical facilities and advanced imaging capabilities.
You will be joining a close-knit team that prides itself on collaboration, support, and delivering exceptional patient and client care.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Be confident managing consultations and routine surgical procedures
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
- Be comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilities
- Have a proactive and compassionate approach to patient care
