Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can enjoy clinical freedom, a supportive team, and an excellent work-life balance?

An established, independent veterinary practice in East Molesey, Surrey is looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with around 4 years UK small animal experience to join their friendly and highly experienced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a practice that has been caring for pets for over 50 years and prides itself on putting patients before profits. As part of a respected independent veterinary group, you'll enjoy the freedom to make clinical decisions based on what's best for your patients, without corporate targets or restrictions.

The Role

This is a busy and rewarding first-opinion position that offers a genuine variety of medicine and surgery.

The practice sees a high caseload, with at least four surgical procedures each day alongside a consulting schedule, making it ideal for a vet who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to continue developing their clinical skills.

Two vets on shift per day and three to four nurses each day, allowing excellent collaboration and continuity of care.

Working Pattern

• Two-week rolling rota
• Alternate long weekends with Friday and Monday off every fortnight
• Shift pattern:
  • 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • 10:30am – 7:00pm
• No weekend work
• No out-of-hours commitments
• Additional weekend or OOH shifts available if you would like to boost your earnings

About You

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:

• Has around 4 years small animal experience
• Is confident managing a varied first-opinion caseload
• Enjoys both consulting and surgery
• Works well within a close-knit team
• Delivers exceptional client and patient care
• Is looking for a long-term role within an independent practice
