Veterinary Surgeon – No OOH & In-House Certificate-Holder Support – North Hertfordshire – Up to £75,000 FTE

About the practice

• Modern first-opinion small animal site within a well-regarded multi-site group.
• Wide range of facilities and equipment.
• Certificate holders on the team in:
  • cardiology
  • feline medicine
  • soft tissue surgery
  • orthopaedic surgery
• So there’s real support on tricky cases.
• Friendly, collaborative team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists.

About the role

• 12-month fixed-term contract.
• 30–40 hours per week, full or part time.
• No OOH.
• 1 in 6 Saturdays.
• The role can be shaped around your clinical interests.

What they’re looking for

• Ideally 2+ years’ small animal experience.
• Strong medical knowledge.
• Experience in routine and emergency surgery.
• Good communication skills and a passion for client care.

What they can give you

• Up to £75,000 FTE, depending on experience 💷
• No OOH.
• RCVS and VDS fees paid.
