GVC are delighted to be assisting a well-established veterinary practice in the Essex area with the recruitment of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to work in a modern, recently refurbished practice offering a varied first opinion caseload alongside an exciting range of exotic patients. Whether you already have experience with exotics or are looking to develop your knowledge, mentoring and support are available to help you grow your skills.
You'll be joining an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons two of which are Partners within the clinic, Registered Veterinary Nurses and dedicated support staff who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative and encouraging environment.

- Varied first opinion small animal caseload

- 1 in 3 Saturday rota

This modern, recently refurbished practice is equipped with excellent facilities and offers a collaborative working environment where clinical standards and professional development are highly valued.
Located just outside Chelmsford, the practice benefits from beautiful countryside surroundings while offering excellent transport links into London, providing the perfect balance between rural living and city accessibility.
About You
We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Holds MRCVS registration (or is eligible to register)
- Has at least 2 years of clinical experience
- Enjoys a varied first opinion caseload
- Has an interest in exotics or is keen to develop this area with support (Exotic caseload around 20%)
- Communicates with empathy and professionalism
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care
